We want to respect nature, which is why as part of its activity Grupa Meblowa Szynaka engages in a range of initiatives aimed at achieving balance and harmony in our surroundings, thus looking after the environment and social relations.

Highest quality

The company is located in one of the most beautiful regions of Poland - Masuria, so we feel obliged to look after the environment. All production plants which constitute part of Grupa Meblowa Szynaka feature modern boiler rooms. The company only selects materials with good technical parameters delivered by trusted, reliable suppliers. We continue to improve our production processes, which allows us to produce eco-friendly furniture.

The group actively supports responsible silviculture and keeps a certified product origin monitoring system, which allows it to hold one of the most important certificates in the furniture industry, FSC® Chain of Custody, awarded to manufacturers of furniture made of materials originating from areas with good forest management. While buying furniture with the FSC logo, customers contribute directly to preserving the environment in its natural state.

Looking after the environment

We understand that energy savings are important on many levels, which is why we look at energy performance also from the perspective of ensuring the highest quality of air, water and other utilities. Grupa Meblowa Szynaka has adopted a specific energy policy and established energy performance teams at all of its facilities. Their main task is to identify areas in need of top priority actions in the scope of energy performance, activity planning, energy audits and implementation of adopted objectives. These teams also monitor changes in energy consumption and carry out energy performance assessments.

Always close to people

We always want to be “close to people”, which is why we actively engage in actions oriented at the local community, including philanthropic involvement on the local, regional and national level. Szynaka Meble supports the operation of many institutions and organisations, such as educational and care facilities, hospitals, children’s homes, educational organisations, NGOs and many others. We participate in nationwide campaigns, such as the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity and Noble Gift, and organise internal fundraisers. We also engage in our own philanthropic initiatives, such as, among others, “Szynaka Gift” and “Szynaka for homeless dogs”.

Support for sports

Grupa Meblowa Szynaka has a long-standing tradition when it comes to working with athletes. We support such disciplines as, among others, football, volleyball, athletics, speedway, sailing, boxing and ballroom dance. The company appreciates physical activity and recognises the hard work and efforts of both successful champions and new athletes.

Supporting local activity

Social Responsibility of Business also means sharing experience and active participation in the life of business circles. President Jan Szynaka regularly participates in the work of prestigious institutions, organisations and associations, in which he holds honourable functions. Among them are President of the Board of the Crafts Guild in Lubawa, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce in Iława, Vice Marshal of the Regional Economic Parliament (and co-founder), Councillor of the County of Iława and many others.

President Jan Szynaka also participates in the work of committees appointed by the Voivode of Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and Marshal of Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship as a member of the Committee for Finance, Industry and Trade, and has participated in sessions of the Committee for Olsztyńskie Voivodeship's Development Strategy (1998-2002). The owner of Grupa Meblowa Szynaka has also held the post of the President of Warmian-Masurian Crafts and Entrepreneurship Chamber in Olsztyn.
